UK Employment Visa, Business Visa for UK Consulate in Chicago, Metropolitan Express Visa and Passport Service

UK Employment Visa (Tier 1,2,5)

Documents to Prepare:

1. Your original and valid passport.

Must be valid for at least 6 months before it expires with last least 2 blank visa pages left.

2. An original fingerprint form with bar code on it (or red stamp)
3. An Application Form printed out online ( fill out application online )
4. Fees to UK consulate will be paid by credit card online (check the fees online)

To expedite UK visa, UK consulate starts to charge an expediting fee of $150/person, so that when we submit your application, UK consulate will pull you ahead of the line, and have yours done quicker than other people (2 weeks for others).

5. For Non US citizen, the following documents are needed:
a. Original US green card or Original I-94 card with H1/F1 document (I-20 for F1) AND a copy of above

b. Original Proof of English Efficiency
6. Financial Status in USA

a. Original Bank statements for 3 months

b. Original employment letter with letterhead address to UK consulate, stating applicant's name, currently employed in this company since ...
AND a copy of above

c. If employed in US, Pay stubs for 3 months.

7. Original Job Offer Letter AND a copy of it.

8. Original Diploma AND a copy if

9. Self Assessment Form

For all original documents, if you do not provide an extra photocopy of it, UK consulate will keep the original documents without returning it to you.

10. One recent color photo stapled on the application form
11. A money order of $60/person payable to Metropolitan Express (For 2-3 workday service)

Tier 1 visa takes longer time depends on the quota each month.

Shipping Method for Return
    A. $20 in addition for FedEx next day return (trackable and insured)
        OR $10 in addition for FedEx 2 day return (trackable and insured)
    B. OR, A self-addressed envelope with FedEx or UPS or account number provided by customers themselves

If you use FedEx next day to apply and return, there will be another 2 days for your mail to go back and forth. UK consulate only open 9am - 10am in the morning for submission, and 3pm - 4pm for pickups. If you use FedEx 8am next day delivery, we will submit the same day, and your visa will be approved the following business day.
